My husband and I did a Canyoneering trip today with Blu Range Cebu Tours. It was a private group so it was just me, my husband, and our guide (Chisel). We had an absolute blast! We came to Cebu island specifically for this experience and it was well worth the money spent for a private tour. We saw so many groups of 10+ people where you have to wait your turn to jump and then wait for the rest of the group to jump, but not for us! We often got to skip the line because there was only 2 of us and there are often alternative jump spots if you’re a scaredy-cat like me! My husband did all the high jumps and I did modified jumps at lower levels (that still seemed scary for me). Chisel did any amazing job guiding us through the jumps and slides and was patient with me when I asked for modifications. He also took wonderful photos of us on our phone as we went, which was above and beyond what we expected! Lunch at the end was delicious as well. Overall, it took us 3h15m to complete the tour from the briefing to sitting down for lunch. Chisel informed us that Mondays are usually less crowded and first thing in the morning is the best time because the water is clearer. We did a Sunday tour at 10am, and while it was crowded with other groups, we rarely had to wait to complete a jump and the water was still very blue and refreshing!
