Itinerary
Your South Cebu adventure packs two epic days of excitement. On Day 1, you’ll brave the canyoneering course at Kawasan Falls, then head to Moalboal for the sardine run and sea turtle encounter before spending the night in Oslob so you won’t need to wake up too early. On Day 2, you’ll swim with whale sharks, explore the powder-white sandbar of Sumilon Island, visit Tumalog Falls, and head back to Cebu City.

- Experience includes a waiting period (1-3 hours) followed by a 30-minute water activity
- During the queue time, your guide will secure your priority number while you can have breakfast
- Actual wait times vary based on tourist volume, number of whale sharks present, and weather conditions
- 30-minute activity length may be adjusted by local government authorities based on conditions
- Each outrigger boat carries 7-12 passengers, with capacity determined by the boatman based on total passenger weight
- Approximately 5 boats operate simultaneously during each 30-minute session
- IMPORTANT: Do not apply sunscreen before the whale shark encounter as it can harm these gentle giants. You can apply sunscreen after the activity is complete.

- Multiple tourists will be in the water simultaneously
- A boatman will assist with photography using your underwater camera or a rented one – please let them know if you’d like their help. Consider preparing a small cash tip to show appreciation for their service. Since there is only one boatman per boat, they manage both boat operations and photography assistance. Note that other passengers in your boat may also request photo assistance, so some coordination between guests is typical during the 30-minute experience.
- For a more exclusive experience, consider scuba diving which:
- Bypasses the regular queue system
- Takes place in the same area but at deeper depths, where naturally fewer tourists venture
- Offers a less crowded experience since most visitors choose to snorkel at the surface
